I just wrapped up the inaugural run of my new course, “AI and Strategy: Lead in the Age of Intelligent Machines” (Strategy 699) at the Ross School of Business—and what an experience it was.
The goal was to cut through the noise and dig into what actually matters: how AI reshapes competitive advantage and strategic decision-making, the evolving AI ecosystem, the different paths forward for startups versus incumbents, and how to lead responsibly as these technologies evolve.
A huge thank you to the incredible guest speakers who shared their insights from the frontier (listed in order of their visit):
- Sameer Soleja (Molecule Software)
- Michael Chui (McKinsey)
- Cristóbal Valenzuela (Runway)
- Michael Olenick (VSTRAT.ai)
- Roberto Frossard (Itaú)
- Shubhi (Bhonsle) Rao (Uplevyl)
- Anurag Jain (Access Healthcare)
- Jen Hollingsworth (Cast & Crew)
- Jay Lichtenstein (ZS Associates)
- Sanji Alwis (Get On Message)
- Gina Fratarcangeli (Google)
- Nicole Herskowitz (Microsoft)
To my students: your curiosity and energy made this course something special. I look forward to seeing the innovations you will bring to the business world.
